Junior Website Developer

REQUIREMENTS

• WordPress website setup and development knowledge
• WordPress template kit knowledge advantageous
• HTML, CSS and some Javascript advantageous
• SEO and SEO tool experience
• Website performance optimization knowledge
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Graphic design experience advantageous
• Creative thinker with the ability to integrate information from various sources
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-team capacity
• Function as a part of the support network to achieve both the goals of the company and the individual goals of senior executives
• Must be a peoples person
• Ability to problem solve
• Great telephonic skills when chatting to customers and branches

• Must have great spelling and grammar

• SEO knowledge

• Elementor page builder knowledge

DUTIES

• Image resizing and optimizing
• WordPress theme and plugin installation
• WordPress theme and plugin updating
• WordPress page layout and blog management
• Page SEO management and SEO implementation
• META tags and Sitemap management where needed
• Daily page management and updates
• Collecting product info and uploading to websites
• Bug fixing and problem solving
• Website optimization for better performance and readability
• Keeping websites up to date with latest group information
• Website security updates
• Work on multiple websites daily
• Learning and taking photo's of products
• Continual follow ups with group companies and monthly website updates

We are looking for a go getter, fun and optimistic person who can handle working across multiple websites and is learning driven. You will be thrown into the deep end and will need to learn and work fast with quality in mind.

Experience:

Prerequisite: A test will be given to you to complete from home. No AI website building will be allowed. Once your CV has been accepted you will be given an on-site test at our premises and will have a certain amount of time to complete this test. The on-site test will be accompanied with your interview. If you are chosen for the position, a final interview may be held with senior management.
